| Since the picturesque town of Aberfoyle was mentioned in the stirring romantic poem by Sir Walter Scott, namely, 'The Lady in the Lake' in 1810, the area known as 'The gateway to the Trossachs' has been enormously popular with tourists. The local area is also known for its association with Mary Queen of Scots, and Rob Roy who was born near the town of Aberfoyle.

Craigmore Guesthouse is a charming Victorian sandstone villa situated on the main road through Aberfoyle, an easy two minute stroll from the centre of the village. The villa is beautifully maintained, styled in a lovely traditional manner and offers luxury accommodation to guests in its beautifully appointed bedrooms.

Our seven twin and double rooms all have private bathrooms, TV with a DVD player and a selection of hot beverages. If you require a family room they are also available on request.

Breakfast is a good hearty meal at Craigmore Guest House, and a full cooked breakfast, or continental breakfast is served between eight and ten in the morning. If you have any special dietary requests, just mention it to the delightful owners and they will be able to accommodate your preferences. Pleasant afternoon teas and packed lunches are also available to guests.
